Inspection Work
Inspection
On-board inspection with a photo record and a written note of what was found.
Scope
- • Equipment and structural checks on board
- • Photo record of what was found
- • Written note for the owner or yard
Inspection visits cover equipment and structural checks carried out on the vessel. The scope is agreed before attendance so the visit fits the time the ship actually has.
A photo record and a short written note go back to the owner or yard. Where a finding needs a closer look, the visit can sit alongside the testing or mechanical team.
